Committees

Members of Parish Council Committees (not called sub-committees) volunteer their services each year at the Annual Parish Council meeting in May, after the Chairman and vice-Chairman have been elected.

  • Planning & Envrionmental Committee (Delegated Authority)
    This Committee has delegated powers to agree responses to planning application on behalf of the whole Parish Council. The Committee meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month if there are planning applications to consider.

  • Finance & Grant Committee (Advisory)This Committee has advisory powers to agree decisions which are then taken for discussion and approval to the next full Parish Council meeting. The Committee meets as and when necessary to discuss issues such as setting the budget and precept.  If you wish to apply for a community grant please complete the application form and return to the Clerk.  Members: Parish CouncillorsJ.   • Personnel & LiaisonCommittee (Advisory)This Committee has advisory powers to agree decisions which are then taken for discussion and approval to the next full Parish Council meeting.   • Highways & Open Spaces Committee (Delegated Authority)
    This Committee has delegated powers to agree responses to highways & public areas, play areas, grass cutting and ditches on behalf of the whole Parish Council.  The Committee meets as and when necessary to discuss any relevant issues.  Members: Parish Councillors J Tyrell (Chair), S.Holland,      J Dynes, R Aldridge, K White, C Wilson-Apperson
